Supplemental Accident, Hospital Indemnity or Critical Illness Coverage Does Not Replace Your Medical Plan

The accidental injury, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans do not replace your medical coverage but can protect you from unexpected out-of-pocket costs not covered by medical or they can provide you with cash benefits to pay expenses like rent/mortgage, food or utilities if you are injured, critically ill or stay in the hospital.

You may elect coverage for yourself, your eligible spouse, and your eligible dependent children under each plan.

To enroll in the supplemental plans, go to the Arkema Benefits Center online when you are newly hired, at open enrollment, or due to a qualifying life event. To find out more about these plans you can call 1-855-376-2716 or visit www.myaetnasupplemental.com.

Commuter Benefits

Commuter Benefits help you save money when you pay for eligible parking and transit for your commute to work.

The Commuter Benefit Account allows you to save money when you pay for eligible transit and/or parking expenses for your commute to work, governed by IRC Section 132(f). If you have both a parking account and a transit account, each account is entirely separate, and funds cannot be transferred from one to the other. Transit and/or parking benefits are limited to your expenses only. Reimbursement is not allowed for spouse or dependent transit or parking expenses or for bridge or road tolls.

The IRS sets the maximum monthly pre-tax deduction limit, which reflects the maximum monthly limit that may be excluded from an employee’s income for qualified commuter and parking benefits. You will receive a NetBenefits CommuterCard® to pay for qualified commuter and parking expenses.

  • You can enroll and track account activity on Fidelity NetBenefits.
  • Unused amounts can be carried over.
  • Funds are deducted monthly from the 2nd payroll deduction cycle to fund expenses for the following month.
