When life gets overwhelming, it's important to remember that help is available. All employees have access to mental health support through the Resources for Living program (formerly known as the EAP), and employees who are enrolled in an Arkema medical plan can access additional emotional support services through their Aetna medical coverage.

Depending on your needs, you may meet with a professional to work on topics such as:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Substance misuse and addiction
  • Family and parenting issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Eating disorders, and others

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Resources for Living Program, formerly known as the Employee Assistance Program or EAP, is provided through Aetna Behavioral Health. It offers confidential assistance to you and your eligible family members 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no cost to you. Speak with a trained professional counselor in up to eight free sessions, per member, per issue each calendar year.

Resources for Living can help you and your family:

  • Balance the demands of work, life and personal issues
  • Find resources for your concerns around parenting issues
  • Resolve relationship problems
  • Get support for work-related or legal situations
  • Manage mental health and substance abuse
  • Manage stress and other issues with free access to TalkSpace digital therapy and MyStrength.

Talkspace

Talkspace text messaging therapy allows you the flexibility, convenience and confidentiality to get the support you need, whenever you are ready, wherever you are. One calendar week of chat therapy will be counted as one of your eight free EAP sessions.

With Talkspace, you and your household members can:

  • Connect with a dedicated therapist for free
  • Send unlimited text, audio, and video messages to that therapist from anywhere, at any time—all via web browser or the Talkspace mobile app
  • Take control of your mental health from the palm of your hand

Mind Companion Self-Care

Mind Companion Self-Care is a digital self-guided program focused on improving your mental well-being in just a few minutes each day. You'll be guided through sessions that include informational videos, interactive questions, and relaxation exercises. You can also track your mood to see your progress over time. These tools work together to help you build resilience and develop healthy behaviors.

AbleTo

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or exhausted? You're not alone.

If you are enrolled in an Arkema medical plan, you have access to AbleTo, a free virtual emotional well-being program that allows you to meet by video chat or phone with a compassionate coach, licensed therapist, or both, who will support you and help you achieve your goals. AbleTo can help you change unhelpful patterns of thoughts and actions to overcome and reduce depression, stress, and anxiety. Sessions are confidential and tailored to fit your needs with a structured plan of action as well as tools you can use every day.

AbleTo's evidence-based programs are grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methods and designed to help you get more out of life. Get started by visiting AbleTo.com/Aetna or calling 1-844-330-3648, Monday-Friday, from 9 am – 8 pm ET.

Enrollees in the Aetna PPO receive the program at no cost. CDHP enrollees are required to meet the plan deductible first. Following that, the program is provided at no cost.

 

Meru Health

Take control of your mental health in just 3 months! Meru Health, available at no cost to those enrolled in an Arkema medical plan, offers a proven 12-week treatment program to help you overcome stress, depression, anxiety and more. With Meru Health, you can:

  • Send chat messages to a therapist or psychiatrist 24/7
  • Receive a biofeedback device to manage your physical responses to stress
  • Get nutrition and sleep tips to improve your well-being
  • Watch guided lessons to learn more about managing your mental health
  • Connect anonymously with other participants facing similar situations

Enrollees in the Aetna PPO pay $30 for an initial evaluation and $30 for a 3-month program. HDHP enrollees pay $190 for an initial evaluation and $350 per month, both subject to deductible and coinsurance.

Brightline for Kids and Teens

Kids and teens need support too. With Brightline, access free coaching and resources to help your child manage stress, anxiety, self-confidence, school troubles and more. If needed, your child can also meet live with a licensed therapist or psychiatrist for virtual telehealth sessions. Brightline's Connect app features on-demand access to interactive exercises, videos, tips and tricks for both kids and parents/caregivers. You can also chat with a coach at any time.

Brightline is available to those enrolled in an Arkema medical plan. Enrollees in the Aetna PPO receive the program at no cost. CDHP enrollees are required to meet the plan deductible first. Once the deductible is met, the program is provided at no cost.
